Every year a third of all food produced is wasted. According to the UN, if food waste was reduced by 25%, this would be enough to feed all those malnourished globally.

VOICE has received great praise for its food waste prevention campaigns. ‘Food Rescue’, has been doing the food festival circuit this summer with some great events around the country, appearing at Ballon Street and Food Rescue Carlow in May, Flavours of Fingal and Taste of Wicklow in June, and Dunmore East Festival of Food Fish and Fun, on 23rd August.
