ECO-UNESCO now enrolling for Education in Sustainable Development course
February 25th, 2016
A two day course on Education for sustainable development – an environmental perspective, organised by ECO-UNESCO, will take place on the last day of March and the first day of April. Both days of the courses will have a separate theme and content: Thursday the 31st of March will cover the fundamentals of education for sustainable development in regards to the environment, as well as trends and developments in the area; Friday the 1st of April will focus on how educational for sustainable development methodologies can be brought into a specific program or curriculum.
The course is suitable for both formal and informal settings, and should appeal to a broad spectrum of persons across the environmental sector – whether you are a teacher, a youth or community leader, an environmental officer, or someone who is just eager to learn more about the specific topic of education for sustainable development.
The course will take place from 10am-4pm on the aforementioned dates, in the ECO-UNESCO training centre at 9 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2. Each course can be taken individually or as a package.
