INTERNSHIP VACANCY: Do you have what it takes to communicate environmental issues?

Can you communicate complex issues in a compelling way? Are you tech savvy? And are you passionate about environmental issues? Then we might have the role for you.
The Irish Environmental Network (IEN) are looking for an intern to join their communications team.
The IEN, which is a network of 33 national environmental NGOs, are looking to take on a Social Media Assistant on an full-time internship.
The post is part of the JobBridge scheme and job seekers who qualify will be eligible to receive increased social welfare payments.
According to the job description: “The candidate will gain experience in managing social media for the Irish Environmental Network. They will learn social media best practice across a number of digital channels. They will help to create compelling content and learn skills such as publication design, image and video editing. In addition to the practical skills they will also develop people skills and benefit from networking across 33 national environmental NGOs. They will get to work on campaigns and develop an understanding of some of the most pressing environmental policy issues.”
The role is based at the IEN Office, 1 Green St, Dublin 7.
Deadline for applications is 5pm Friday October 21st.
