Clean coasts and Blue flag, both programs run by An Taisce, have release the results of their studies, classifying Irish beaches. Clean coast’s aim is to engage communities in the protection of Ireland’s beaches, seas and marine life, through coastal clean-up initiatives and marine litter surveys. And the Blue flag is a European program.
